Hi Eva, You emailed me about a male pup this summer after I contacted you last year. I was just looking through the poodle site and saw you have a beautiful female. The amazing thing is her name. That was a name I had been thinking of for a decade for the next female I got. Got the male since I couldn't find a female but Hope Springs Eternal was in my mind....related to the ongoing challenge of obedience trials and the elusive UDX. 2 years ago I lost my beloved cocker spaniel who had been very sick for along time. The empty heart I had was unbearable. I saw a wonderful apricot mini poodle with a most severe underbite on pet finders. We went to pick him up and life was never the same. He was kept in a cage for the first year of his life in a puppy mill, and although he was older he thought he was a puppy and did not know he was a dog. He was a slammer and played constantly with me slamming into me as he flew across the room. He showed me every day how happy he was to be rescued. He would melt into me so hard I did not even need to hold onto him. Sunday he was his normal crazy self and early this Friday morning he went to sleep in my arms and never woke up again. He went to the vet twice that week, we are all shocked. I have just been searching for some consoling and ran across your site. I am so happy others have felt as I do about their buddies. I thought he would be with me for 20 years, but even 2 years was wonderful. The night he died he stared so hard a

I am very interested in making enquiries re: "Calvin". I have shown & bred Silver & White Miniature Poodles for 15yrs & would love to find a new line from "A" stock to put into my own lines. Pardon my ignorance, but I do not understand what the term "available by private treaty" means. Does this mean that he is available at stud or for sale ??? Carol.

Some years ago, I met a wonderful black poodle #$@%! who belonged to a woman who called her kennel "Chaud Chien". I thought poodle & woman both had great style. Now, I am in a position to find a poodle companion of my own, and notice that you have a poodle who goes back to Chaud Chien poodles. Is this kennel still in existence? Do poodles of that bloodline, style and joie de vivre still exist? Any information would be greatly appreciated!
